Yes, another 80s kids franchise from childhood is about to be turned into a big-budget hollywood summer action movie. no big surprise really - Transformers was huge, why not go with Hasbro's other 80s success?
I hadn't really heard much about this since it was announced, but I just randomly looked at the IMDB page for it and the casting is a bit surprising.
Ray Park as Snake Eyes sounds just about perfect, Sienna Miller as The Baroness .. sure why not.
And possibly even more perfect - Mr. Eko as Heavy Duty. Sold.
But only if Heavy Duty gets to carry around a huge stick with scriptures written on it.
Oh yeah, and Lost's season debut is tonight. I'm going to have to leave work early, I'm thinking.

I would rather Mr. Eko be Roadblock, but it seems like Heavy Duty has become the New Big Black Guy in the new G.I.Joe cartoons. That's cool. Dennis Quaid as Hawk is GENIUS.
